Welcome to the Fellowship of the Inner FIRE, where the “FIRE” stands for Freedom, Introspection, Renewal, and Empowerment. We are not affiliated with any other church, group, or fellowship that has the word “fire” in their name.
We meet for worship over Zoom, on Sunday afternoons at 4pm Eastern Time. Conversely you may join us in-person, at our small chapel just outside Centerville, Ohio.
Our preaching is Bible-based, with references to spiritual works such as Gueranger’s Three Ages of the Interior Life, or Tomberg’s Meditations on the Tarot, or Gareth Knight’s Practical Guide to Qabalistic Symbolism, and other Western spiritual texts as helpful and appropriate. Our focus is individual spirituality and the refinement of “the inner man,” with an eye toward what the Eastern Church calls “theosis” and the Western Church “divinization.”
We uphold traditional Christian moral teaching as based on the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule, and support the Individual’s rights to Life, Liberty, and Property; we support the Non-Aggression Principle; and we believe the human mind is capable of knowing objective reality.
Our worship is liturgical and uses both English and Latin. This can be seen in the Order of Mass, where the parts the people respond to are in English and the “working parts” are in Latin. Once a month we offer a Traditional Latin Mass for Breaking Curses, Overcoming Obstacles, and Diffusing Bad Energies.
